In this episode, Greg shares stories of individuals who feel they are alone in their personal struggles. They look fine on the outside, but inside they are dying. Everyone is struggling with some issue. And it is easy to get discouraged and lose hope because you think you’re alone. You’re not! Rabbi Jonathan Sacks said, “It takes no courage to be an optimist, but it takes a great deal of courage to have hope.” We dig a little deeper into 1 Corinthians 13:13, a popular scripture read at weddings about faith, hope and love. Greg shares a great quote by John Eldredge from his book, All Things New. “ . . . a life without faith has no meaning, a life without love isn’t worth living, a life without hope is a dark cavern from which you cannot escape . . . faith, hope & love are mighty forces . . . hope is the most critical role.” Remember what Hebrews 6:19 says, “Hope is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls” There are many ways to build hope. Tune in to next week’s episode to learn how you can F.R.E.E. yourself from discouragement and build a life full of hope.
